Kinematic demands of FIFA's EPTS validation circuit compared to a sport-specific alternative.

This study looked at two different circuits to see which one challenged soccer players more. They found that the sport-specific circuit (SSC) had players doing more running, fast stops and starts, and quick direction changes than the FIFA circuit. This means the SSC could be better for testing sports equipment in high-energy situations.
