The Tactical Shift That Redefined Spanish Soccer

November 13, 2025 ¡ 5 min read

If you followed LaLiga in the early 2010s, you’d recognize a pattern: nearly every team lined up in the classic 4-2-3-1. da Silva MF; Novillo Á; Aleta A; López Del Campo R; Resta R; Moreno Y; Buldú JM

This study looks at how players' speed and ball control work together in soccer.
